Fixed vs. Removable Appliances
At Brightside Braces, we believe you should be thoroughly educated regarding your treatment. It’s helpful for patients around Spring to understand the difference between fixed and removable appliances.
Dr. Lewis attaches fixed appliances, like braces, to your teeth and won’t take them off until you complete your treatment at Brightside Braces.
When Dr. Lewis prescribes removable appliances like clear aligners, you’ll wear them most of the day, but you can take the trays out of your mouth for certain events and activities.
Besides the obvious differences, Brightside Braces uses clear aligners to treat mild to moderate orthodontic problems and fixed appliances for comprehensive treatment.
